Seasonal Pool Server
The Country Club at Woodmore | Mitchellville, MD

Position Overview
The Seasonal Pool Server plays a key role in delivering a high-quality, member-focused experience at the Club’s pool facilities. This position is responsible for providing attentive food and beverage service, maintaining a clean and organized pool environment, and creating a welcoming, energetic atmosphere for members and their guests throughout the summer season.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced, outdoor environment and take pride in hospitality, teamwork, and creating memorable experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Member Service & Hospitality:

Provide friendly, timely, and professional food & beverage service to members and guests at the pool.
Anticipate member needs and ensure a positive, engaging experience.
Maintain strong knowledge of menu offerings, daily features, and beverage options.
Accurately take and enter orders using the Club’s POS system (Club Grub).
Deliver food and beverages promptly and ensure presentation standards are met.

Operations & Setup:

Assist with daily pool setup and breakdown, including furniture arrangement, umbrellas, and service stations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of poolside dining areas, service stations, and surrounding spaces.
Ensure all side work is completed thoroughly and on time.

Bar & Beverage Support:

Support basic bar service as needed, including preparing simple beverages and assisting bartenders during peak times.
Follow all alcohol service guidelines and ID verification procedures.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with fellow servers, bartenders, and management to ensure seamless service.
Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Maintain a positive, team-first attitude at all times.

Qualifications:

Previous food & beverage or hospitality experience preferred, but not required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment in varying weather conditions.
Must be reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
Must be at least 18 years old (or per state alcohol service requirements).

Schedule & Availability:

Seasonal position (Memorial Day through Labor Day).
Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and peak summer dates.
Flexible scheduling based on Club needs and events.
